Cannes Film Festival 2015 Kicks Off In Style

Flashing lights, camera, glitz, and glamour galore! Hollywood's brightest and most gifted stars walked the red carpet during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in France in the most gorgeous garments paired with the spectacular jewellery.

2015 marks the 60^th anniversary of the Palme d’Or. Chopard being the official partner of the festival and creator of the most esteemed film trophy in the world since 1998 is celebrating the event by launching jewellery collections inspired by the curves of the Palme in ethical Fairmined gold. The 68th Cannes Film Festival officially opened yesterday with the red carpet premiere of Standing Tall (Le tete haute), an inspiring drama about the juvenile justice system as seen through the experiences of one kid from age 6 to 18.

Chopard shines on the steps of the Palais des Festivals as stars debut the newest creations from the Red Carpet Collection, and we love the jewels and sparkle we have already seen.

Oscar winner Julianne Moore opted for this feathered Armani Privé ensemble accompanied with a pair of pear-shaped emerald earrings (52 carats) set with white diamonds in platinum from Chopard’s Red Carpet Collection and an octagonal step-cut emerald ring set in white diamond pave in 18-karat white gold.

We can almost smell the scent of fresh spring air with Lupita Nyong'o in this exuberant emerald Gucci gown at the La Tete Haute premiere. The 2014 Academy Award winner adorned her look with a pair of pink quartz earrings by Chopard.

Fan BingBing made heads turn at Cannes in a printed green-and-pink Ralph & Russo Couture gown paired with stunning Chopard earrings featuring pear-shaped emeralds (25 carats) and white diamonds.

Chinese actress Zhao Tao wore a pair of Chopard marquise-cut white diamond chandelier earrings (30 carats) set in 18-karat white gold.
