The Corporate Development Centre (CDC), a body set up by Khazanah Nasional Bhd to support exiting Malaysian Airlines (MAS) employees in their career transition, will begin registration from June 1.
The CDC was set up as part of the 12-point Malaysia Airlines (MAS) recovery plan.
Chief executive officer Shahryn Azmi said the employees would be offered a broad range of free outplacement and training services, including talent profiling, career counselling, basic and detailed training, job seeking skills, entrepreneurship, retirement planning and placement.
"Whether individuals are seeking a new job, intending to set up a business or take early retirement, CDC's team will provide practical steps, advice and support to plan their next steps as smoothly as possible," he said in a statement today.

Shahryn said CDC is also partnering with government agencies, including the Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK) and MyAngkasa Amanah Bhd (MAAB) to provide advice and consultation on financial planning, credit management, investments and related topics.
Meanwhile, he said for individuals seeking to up-skill, CDC offered close to 450 programmes, courses or classes that are relevant to the market across many industries, with more to come.
He said individuals would have access to a wide variety of choices, including business, communications, entrepreneurship, engineering, marketing information technology (IT) etc.
