Celcom customers can check video streaming quality thru new app

Celcom Axiata Bhd and its customers can now check Celcom's network quality while watching YouTube through its new consumer web application (app), Video Checkup.

In a statement today, Celcom said, Video Checkup aimed to maximise users' data experience with smooth YouTube streaming.

Chief Executive Officer, Michael Kuehner, said as a network service provider, the app would greatly benefit from YouTube's Video Checkup rating to deliver the best video experience.

"Celcom will always continue to provide the best digital customer experience through such opportunities.

"The rating given by YouTube for Celcom customers would contribute to our many ongoing network modernisation initiatives to offer the best network quality experience to our customers," he said.

YouTube Video Checkup is a star-based rating scheme with a maximum rating of five. -- Bernama
