COVID: New cases drop to 14,516 today

KUALA LUMPUR: New COVID-19 cases reported in the country dropped to 14,516 today, following a record high of 17,045 cases yesterday.
Health director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in his post on Facebook said the new confirmed infections brought the cumulative number of cases to 1,027,954.
Dr Noor Hisham said Selangor still recorded the highest number of new cases with 6,508, while three other states were also in four figures, namely Johor (1,449), Kuala Lumpur (1,425) and Kedah (1,160).
Sabah recorded 720 cases, Perak (590), Negeri Sembilan (452), Penang (402), Pahang (386), Melaka (373), Sarawak (356), Kelantan (346), Terengganu (245), Putrajaya ( 94), Labuan (eight) and Perlis (two).
