Dead body on car

A man fainted after finding a dead man's body on the roof of his car at the Sri Saujana Condominium in Macallum road, here, Wednesday.

Jalan Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the department received a call at 6pm, claiming a man was trapped in a Proton Waja car.

"When we arrived at the location, we found the body of a man on the roof of a car. The roof was badly damaged, probably due to the impact and we found the owner of the car unconscious near the car," he said when contacted.

Meanwhile, Timur Laut police chief ACP Gan Kong Meng said the dead man, identified as Liew Kam Ming, 49, was found in a pool of blood while his right leg was almost severed after falling from the 24th floor of the condominium.

Gan said the body was later sent to the Penang Hospital's Forensic Department for post-mortem.

"We are tracing the family of Liew," he said when contacted.
