Kota Baharu:One more stretch of road, at KM10 Jalan Pangkal Gong-Kemubu in Machang, was closed this morning in Kelantan, raising to 23 the stretches of road closed in the state due to the floods.
Stretches of 16 roads have been closed to all traffic while six were closed to light vehicles, according to the state government flood portal.
The stretches of road closed to all vehicles are KM15.8 Jalan Gua Musang-Jelawang-Dabong and Km0.6 Jalan Gua Musang-Lojing-Simpang Pulai, both in Gua Musang district.
Five stretches in Kuala Krai, namely Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra (in Kuala Krai town); Jalan Jirat (Kuala Krai); Km0.7 Jalan Guchil - Batu Balai; Km66 Jalan Kota Baharu-Kuala Krai-Gua Musang and Km100 Jalan Kota Baharu-Kuala Krai-Gua Musang.
Four stretches in Machang, namely KM8 Jalan Machang-Pangkal Meleret-Wakaf Bata; Jalan Kampung Paloh Rawa-Temangan; Jalan Kuala Sat-Kelaweh and Jalan Kampung Kemuning-Sungai Merkam.

Three stretches in Pasir Mas, namely KM12 Jalan Rantau Panjang-Panglima Bayu; KM11 Jalan Pohon Tanjung-Rantau Panjang (old road) Kampung Siram and Km23 Jalan Banggol Kulim Lokasi 2.
One stretch in Tumpat, namely KM8 Jalan Cabang 4 Kampung Jambu Meranti and another in Tanah Merah, namely Km1.5 Jalan Tanah Merah-Kusial-Kampung Ipoh.
The stretches of road closed to light vehicles are KM2 Jalan Keselamatan (Kesban); Pengkalan Kubor-Kampung Jambu and KM3 Jalan Pohon Tanjung-Pasir Pekan in Tumpat; Km3 Jalan Pengkalan Rakit in Pasir Mas; Km37 Jalan Jeli-Dabong in Jeli and Km4 Jalan Kota Baharu-Pantai Cahaya Bulan (PCB) in Kota Baharu.
