Floods in Setiu
Heavy rain since morning caused floods in a village in Setiu Monday, forcing nine people to be evacuated to a
relief centre this evening.
Terengganu Fire & Rescue assistant superintendent Mohd Rozairi Abdul Rahim said the evacuees, from Kampung Chalok Barat, were moved out at 5 pm to the Sungai Lerek community hall.
They comprised four women, two men, two girls and a boy, he added.
