Dhia Aishah Mohamad Faizal is only four month-old but she is suffering from seven different illnesses.
The baby who was born with imperforate anus suffers from chronic nerves disorder, kidney, intestine and bladder problems. Both her legs are also deformed.
Dhia Aisyah who was born in October last year at Kuala Kangkong, Alor Setar, weighs only 2.8 kilogramme and needs intense care from both her parents as she is easily susceptible to virus and bacteria due to her condition.
Her mother, Fazuana Hoda, 33 said she had to quit working as a clerk at a furniture shop to concentrate on her eldest child.
“I have to take her care like all the other children but with extra care and with sanitizer due to her condition,” she told Astro AWANI.
Her father, Mohamad Faizal Ahmad, 37 who works as an electrician has to take off from his work on many occasion as he has to bring Dhia Aishah to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar for treatment.
Her medical expenses alone comes up to RM1,000 a month and Mohamad Faizal is appealing to the public to help lessen their burden.
"I hope she will be healthy like other children although her condition is such. We accept her as she is," he said when met.
The couple never stopped praying for a miracle and cure for the child.
