Gathering deemed a failure - Kedah UMNO Youth chief

The illegal gathering that was seen as an attempt to overthrow the government has been seen as failure.

Instead, the rally conducted to protest the government’s decision in increasing the price of domestic items tainted the country’s image on the New Year’s eve.

Kedah UMNO Youth chief, Datuk Shaiful Hazizy feels that the gathering was just an action that can jeopardise the security of the country.

It has also been seen as a platform for certain parties to gain mileage internationally in condemning the government’s leadership.
