Although the remains of 20 victims of the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 victims have been repatriated, the Government remains committed in locating MAS Flight MH370 which vanished on March
8.

Communications and Multimedia Deputy Minister Datuk Jailani Johari said there was no need for the public to doubt Malaysia's capability in the matter as it was currently the main focus.

He said he would be going to Australia next week with three other committee chairmen to continue talks with their counterparts on the search mission which was currently in its second phase.

"We are also looking into the need to sign a memorandum of understanding between the governments involved, China and Australia, to discuss issues on the search, communication issues and costs involved in searching for MH370," he added.

Jailani said this after officiating a Merdeka programme and distribution of flags to representatives of four constituencies namely, Ajil, Manir, Telemong and Kuala Berang at Kampung Tok Randok here today.
