A housewife was charged in the High Court here today with possession of terrorist-related items.
Siti Nor Intan Shafinaz Johari, 27, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge before Judge Datuk Azman Abdullah.
The woman, who has a eight-year-old child, was charged with committing the offence at No. 104, Kampung Ujung Tanjung, Kuala Perlis at 8.15 am last March 22.
She was first charge with the offence at the Kangar Magistrate's Court last April 19.
The charge, under Section 130JB (1)(a) of the Penal Code, provides an imprisonment for up to seven years, or fine, and forfeiture of the goods, if found guilty.
Deputy public prosecutor Mohamad Mustaffa P. Kunyalan prosecuted, while Siti Nor Intan Shafinaz was represented by lawyer Faridah Mohammad.
The court set June 29 for mention for submission of documents.
