The Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently in the midst of discussions on enforcement measures to be taken on parents who are still bringing their children to public places.
However, Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the approach in giving advice was still being implemented.
"We will now discuss how we can enforce (the law) against parents who take children to public places including hospitals without an appointment.
"We are now using the 'soft approach'. If we are not successful, we will be using the enforcement method," he told a COVID-19 daily press conference here today.
So far, the proposal has been brought up and discussed at the National Security Council (MKN) meeting.
