The Broadcasting Department has been urged to give more coverage and special reports on Terengganu intellectuals in various fields, especially religion and education.
Chairman of the State Communications and Multimedia, and Special Functions Committee, Ghazali Taib hopes Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) would introduce new programmes which highlight Terengganu intellectuals.
"Many students of Sekolah Menengah Imtiaz have become professionals in medicine, engineering and other fields."
He was speaking to reporters after launching the 'Tokoh Islam Minggu Ini' (Tismi) programme at Terengganu RTM here, today. -BERNAMA
