Water supply has been restored to several areas in Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling and Shah Alam where the service was interrupted since early this week.

Kumpulan Air Selangor head of corporate communications Amin Lin Abdullah said in a statement today that the interruption was caused by rubbish piling up at the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plan Phase 1 and 3.

The people can obtain details on the water supply status through the 'mySYABAS' handphone application or from the www.syabas.com.my website or 'Air Selangor' Facebook account.
