King of Clubs: Show us your driving skills in this new challenge

One of three brand new challenges is the Precision Driving challenge. This year, participants will be required to show us their driving skills twice with the inclusion of this new challenge. But unlike gymkhana, fast is not an element that would help win in this challenge.

Instead of a motorsport point, precision driving is all about driving safely. Participants are required to perform a front slalom course and a reverse slalom course. But that is not all, in between completing their slalom sequence they will have to execute a few parking manoeuvres, making sure that the car is facing the direction indicated in the parking box as well as a 360 degree turn.

Think of the track as a simulation of dangerous road situations, and the participants will drive through and show us just how they would react when faced with these situations. It’s very much like we’ve sent our participants to safety driving school and giving them an exam by judging them on their reaction to the track.

To make the challenge fair, our awesome sponsors from Kurnia will be providing participants the cars they will drive for the challenge. Yeap, all teams will be picking one out of two cars that Kurnia will be providing. How would we know which car is better? Well that would depend on the luck of the draw.
