Kit Siang is only play-acting - Mah

DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang is seen as only play-acting when he purportedly wants to cooperate with Gerakan, said Gerakan president Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong.

Mah said Kit Siang had never contacted the party but only made an announcement on the matter via a media conference.

"This is just a game, I myself found out the invitation after reading about it in the newspaper," he told reporters after a Gerakan open house at the PGRM Building here today.

Recently, local media reported that Kit Siang wanted to discuss with senior leaders of UMNO, MCA and Gerakan, purportedly for purpose of cooperation to save Malaysia.

Kit Siang was reported as saying that MCA and Gerakan leaders were also given 72 hours to state their agreements without having to seek permission from UMNO. - BERNAMA
