Male student detained after schoolgirl gives birth in school
Police said the teenager was arrested to help the case of a 15-year old teenager giving birth to the infant.
Police detained a 16-year old male teenager after a schoolgirl gave birth to a baby girl at a secondary school surau here, Tuesday morning.
Jempol acting police chief DSP Azham Shah Azlan said the teenager was arrested to help the case of a 15-year old teenager giving birth to the infant.
"The infant is healthy while the teenager who gave birth has regained consciousness and being treated at the Jempol Hospital," he said when contacted by Bernama.
The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code.
