MH370: KLIA'S lookout point no longer used as Family Friend Reception - MAS
Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) on Thursday announced that the lookout point area at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) was no longer used as Family Friend Reception Centre and Holding Area for the missing MH370 flight passengers.
MAHB in a statement issued said a "Wall of Hope" has been set up at the place instead for the public to express their hope and prayers by writing on the wall, for the well-being of the passengers and crew on board MH370.
"The public are urged to use appropriate venues such as mosques or places of worship for prayers," it added.
The lookout point situated at Level 5 of the Main Terminal Building was used as the centre to facilitate the handling of family members of flight MH370 since last Saturday.
The Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12 crew disappeared from the radar about one hour after it took off from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 12.41am last Saturday.
It was due to land in Beijing at 6.30am the same day.
