Defence and Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the police will soon explain on the simulator, found and taken from Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah's residence.
Hishammuddin said the disclosure regarding the simulator belonging to the pilot of the missing MH370 will be made by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
“The IGP will make the disclosure regarding the simulator which is still under investigation,” he said during a press conference held in Sama-Sama Hotel, Tuesday.
On Saturday, investigation officers took the flight simulator belonging to Zaharie from his home in Shah Alam.
It was later re-assembled at the Bukit Aman police headquarters to look for clues that could be used in finding the missing aircraft.
The Berita Harian on Tuesday had disclosed that the Diego Garcia airport runway is among the top five locations the investigative team discovered on the simulator programme belonging to Zaharie.
The daily said the findings on the simulator is being taken into account as key elements in the disappearance of the aircraft driven by Zaharie MH370.
Besides the Diego Garcia runway, investigation also found Male International Airport of Maldives and three other runways in India and Sri Lanka, all which have a distance of 1,000 meters of runway.
The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft belonging to Malaysian Airlines (MAS) was on its way to Beijing on March 8 when it dropped out of radar. It is yet to be found until today.
