Mini Malaysia extends their manufacture warranty

Mini Malaysia today announced that all Mini vehicles purchased from 1st January 2016 inwards will receive an all-new 4-Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Program.

The new warranty is not only an extension in duration, it also includes free scheduled service and maintenance up to 60,000km in accordance with the Condition Based Service (CBS) system in respective Mini vehicles. Service vehicle check, engine oil service with oil filter and refill quantity are also included in the new warranty.

Components such as air filters, micro filters, spark plugs and brake fluids are also covered in the program while parts such as front and rear brakes including discs and pads along with windscreen wipers are excluded.

Mini owners who purchased their cars in December 2015 have the option to upgrade to their 3-years/ 50,000km Mini Service Inclusive Fix package to the new 4-years warranty program but with their full service program from the previous warranty still in-tact.

To be entitled to the new warranty program, the Mini vehicle has to be purchased at any Authorised Mini Dealer across the country and these Authorised Mini Dealers reserve the right to reject any claim when service has been carried out by non-authorised workshops where the cause of defect is due to inadequate recommended servicing of the use of non-original parts.

The Mini 4-years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service program comes after the announcement of BMW Malaysia’s new tyre warranty. The manufacturer has been making changes to their warranties since the release of their 5-year BMW warranty program last year making it more attractive to own a BMW and a Mini than ever!
