Ministry to provide counseling for parents, family members who lost their loved ones due to bullying

The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry will provide counseling to parents and family members who have lost their loved ones due to bullying, a crime which has been rampant of late.
Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said the counseling would be provided continuously to help the parents and family member to overcome their sorrow over the lost of their loved ones.
"We have to help them overcome their sadness and prevent them from holding grudges or taking revenge.
"For parents who lost a child due to bullying, their trauma and anger will not be pacified with one one or two sessions of counseling.
"That is why we will provide continuous counseling to the parents and family members and we will also look into the best methods to help the family to overcome their sorrow."
She said this to reporters after opening the Mind Therapy and Relaxation Programme at the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) Centre here, Thursday.
