Malaysia identifies North Korean embassy official among suspects
Malaysian police identified a senior official in the North Korean embassy on Wednesday as a suspect in the murder of Kim Jong Nam, and said another was linked to North Korea's state airline.
Police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said both suspects are still in Malaysia and have been called in for questioning. He said North Korean diplomat held the rank of second secretary at the embassy.
Woman shot dead at close range in Penang
A woman was shot dead while driving on Jalan Pekaka in Sungai Dua, near here, this afternoon.
In the incident at around 5:45 pm, the 49-year-old victim died at the scene after sustaining severe injuries from gunshots fired at close range.
No injection mark, injury detected on Kim Jong Nam's body - Health DG
The Ministry of Health announced that its initial investigation found no injection marks or injuries on the body of Kim Jong Nam.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the National Institute of Forensic Medicine (IPFN) also did not receive any DNA sample from the relatives of the victims.
