Najib to distribute special edition ang pow envelopes in conjunction with CNY

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will be distributing special edition ang pow envelopes in conjunction with the Chinese New Year, which will be celebrated by the Chinese community on Feb 8 and 9 this year.
"Chinese New Year is coming soon, we will be distributing free 'Ah Jib Gor' special edition ang pow envelopes to fans," said a statement posted on the Chinese-language Facebook page 'Ah Jib Gor'.
According to the statement, fans only needed to 'Like' the page and fill out personal details like their home address, full name and phone number via the link: https://www.facebook.com/ahjibgor/app_161683100556760.

According to the statement, each packet contains 10 ang pow envelopes, and will be distributed while stocks last.
Under the Chinese calendar this will be the Year of the Fire Monkey.
"Ah Jib Gor", the prime minister's official Facebook page in Mandarin, has been in operation since Jan 16, 2012 as a platform to reach out to the wider community through the social networking site.
"Ah Jib Gor" which means "Brother Najib" in Mandarin, is designed to provide another forum to the Mandarin speaking community to interact with the prime minister on social media.
