Nazir uploads photo of four key MACC individuals
NAZIR: A few good men. Protect their institution, MACC. Allow and encourage them to carry out their duties without fear or favour.
Datuk Seri Nazir Razak on Sunday uploaded a photo of four key individuals from the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) who were involved in the SRC International investigation, on his Instagram page.
The four individuals were MACC’s Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed, Special Operations Director Datuk Bahri Mohamad Zin, Strategic Communications Director Datuk Rohaizad Yaakob and Deputy Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri.
What caught the eye of his followers, was the caption accompanying the photo.
“A few good men. Protect their institution, MACC. Allow and encourage them to carry out their duties without fear or favour,” Nazir wrote.
The transfer of two senior MACC officers, Bahri and Rohaizad to the Prime Minister’s Department had raised eyebrows.
Abu Kassim meanwhile is currently on leave following an operation on August 7.
His role will be assumed by MACC deputy chief commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Mustafar Ali until his return.
