Nik Nazmi charged, next hearing on June 4

PKR state assemblyman for Seri Setia Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad has been charged at the Petaling Jaya Sessions court this morning.

According to his Twitter account @niknazmi, his next hearing is on June 4.

Nik Nazmi was charged over the rally, also known as #Black505, in which tens of thousands of Malaysians gathered at the Kelana Jaya stadium to protest against the country’s elections results that they claim were tained by fraud.

Under the Peace Assembly act 2012, the organisers failed to give sufficient notice prior to the event on May 8.
