Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) warns outsiders not to bother and disturb the election process which was deemed to have been conducted in a democratic manner.
PKR president Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said this in a statement on Tuesday.
"From the initial briefing obtained, it clearly demonstrates that the chaos in the election was triggered by the identified non-members, powered by gangsters," said the Kajang State assemblyman.
She did not deny the breach of discipline had involved some of the party members.
"It must be stressed that, PKR never looked down on the discipline issue. All parties are reminded to continue to comply with existing regulations and celebrate democracy with respect," she said.
Meanwhile, Wan Azizah thanked all the parties who were involved in the smooth running of the election and also the Central Election Committee (CEC) for accepting criticism and comments from all members.
"Therefore, we expect that the CEC will continue to improve the election process from time to time," she said.
The PKR 2014 Elections had witnessed some commotion, especially in Selangor, which caused the cancellation of more than 10 of the branch elections conducted.
According to the party's President, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the problems which occured was due to the intervention of outside parties including gangsters.
However, Anwar admitted that the election this time had its flaws and the voting system is in need of improvisation.
