Poll: Should politicians (MPs, state assemblymen) resign on political reasons?

Kajang assemblyman Lee Chin Cheh who is also Parti Keadilan Rakyat representative had announced his resignation from the Selangor Legislative Assembly on Monday. Lee said his reasons of resigning from the position is “for the common interest and to strengthen Pakatan Rakyat’s ability in serving for the people of Selangor ”.

Following this announcement, talks were rife where many is of the opinion that a representative should concentrate on the quality of services rendered to the people compared to political gains. However, there are also those who think the opposite.
