A press conference on the fate of Selangor MB issue will be held at the Selangor State Secretary office at Shah Alam, 2pm Monday.
Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said discussions and outcome of his meeting with the Sultan of Selangor this morning at Istana Alam Shah, Klang will be disclosed at the briefing.
Abdul Khalid, who spoke to the media briefly before leaving the palace, said he was ‘very satisfied’ with the meeting, held by the Council of the Royal Court to discuss his position as MB following his termination from PKR on Saturday.
The now independent state assemblyman arrived at the palace at 8.45am today to meet Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Apart from his position as MB, the Council of the Royal Court also discussed matters pertaining to the state administration including a possible reshuffling of its Executive Council line-up and the dissolution of the state assembly.
