Public servant arrested for raping underaged daughter

A civil servant has been arrested and remanded for a week after committing incest with his 13-year-old daughter over the past three years.
The 34-year-old suspect was detained at his house here last Friday, a day after the victim conducted a check-up at Keningau Hospital.
District police chief deputy superintendent. Ahmad Jawila said the victim had confided in a friend, who then took her to the hospital for a checkup on December 8.
The victim claimed her father had raped her 11 times between January and November, 2016. The victim had refused to disclose to her mother to avoid the latter from scolding her.
The case is being investigated under Section 376B of the Penal Code for committing commercial sex with minors under 18.
