Pro-BN NGO coalition and UMNO Grassroot Movement (GAUM) president, Zulkarnain Mahdar, criticised the PKR secretary-general and the opposition leadership for keeping silent over the matter.
"It is already known that Rafizi had on May 30 lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on the corruption issue.
"It is not fair for Rafizi and other Pakatan Harapan leaders to act like champions and picking on the Barisan Nasional government's wrongdoings but when corruption involve their state government they are quiet about it," he said in a statement here, Saturday.
"When the 1MDB case was still being investigated by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and the National Audit Department, Rafizi and Pakatan leaders continued attacking the government, in fact even when the case was completed and the official report was out they did not stop," he said.
However, Zulkarnain said Rafizi and the opposition were seen to be silent when the corruption cases involved the government under their own party.
"If this is their political style, then they cannot claim to be champions of integrity," he said.
Recently, some news portal reported that corruption was being practised in the administration of the Selangor state government.
The reports came following a leaked screen shot of Rafizi's conversation in a WhatsApp chat group that was circulated on social media about allegations of graft and requests for women in dealings with the Selangor state government.
