Raja Permaisuri Agong welcomes craft entrepreneurs to the Tun Azizah handmade market online

Tunku Azizah, who is the patron of the TTAHM Online, set up last year, said the shops sell various craft products.

"I am happy because majority of the entrepreneurs are from the B40 group, single mothers and persons with disabilities who choose not to be discouraged and continue to be independent by trying to generate income on their own," said the Queen who joined the event online from Istana Negara here today.

The Raja Permaisuri Agong said TTAHM Online provides an opportunity for handicraft entrepreneurs to market their products internationally, as well as for guidance on online business.

Mastering online business is important during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. said Her Majesty.

TTAHM, which is under the auspices of the Creative Sewing Arts Association of Malaysia (PSJKM), was established in February last year to help local handicraft entrepreneurs market their own products online.

Meanwhile, a total of 79 students from community colleges and polytechnics received a sewing machine each contributed by Mostwell Sdn Bhd under its corporate social responsibility programme through PSJKM last January.

"My hope is that the students who received the sewing machines can make the most of it and master the creative sewing skills and then be able to contribute to their family, community and the country," said Her majesty.

The Raja Permaisuri Agong also reminded Malaysians to always comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) in the fight against COVID-19.

"To Malaysians, I hope we all take responsibility in the fight against COVID-19," added Her Majesty.
