Remains of MAS stewardess, Mastura Mustafa, to be buried in Paroi

The remains of MAS stewardess, Mastura Mustafa, 40, a victim of the MH17 air crash will be buried at the Muslim cemetery in Paroi, here tomorrow.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said after the ceremony to honour the MH17 victims at Bunga Raya complex, KL International Airport tomorrow morning, the remains of Mastura will be brought to At-Taqwa Mosque in Paroi.

"There will be a prayer session for the remains after Friday prayers. After that the remains will be laid to rest at the Paroi Muslim cemetery," he said when met at an Aidilfitri gathering organised by NSTP, here today.

He said after attending the ceremony to honour the MH17 victims at KLIA, he will accompany Mastura's remains back to Seremban.

The remains of 20 Malaysians (11 Muslims, nine non-Muslims) who were victims of the MH17 air crash will be brought home tomorrow.

The remains are expected to arrive at the KLIA from Amsterdam, Netherlands at 10am.

Flight MH17, which was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur with 298 passengers including 15 crew members, was shot down in Donetsk, east Ukraine near the Russian border on July 17.
