Second phase of MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line will be launched on July 17 - PM Najib

The second phase of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) between Semantan and Kajang will be officially launched on July 17.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who announced the date, said the second phase will complete the 51 kilometres-long Sg Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line.

“Through the first (Sungai Buloh-Semantan) and second phase of the MRT, the government is hoping to benefit over 500,000 passengers who will use it everyday,” he said during his speech at the launch of the Third National Physical Plan, Second National Urban Policy and the National Rural Physical Policy at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, here, today.
