'Set a good example to your children' - Johor Sultan's Father's Day message

The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar has urged fathers in Malaysia to continue setting a good example to their children.

The message was shared on his Facebook page, in conjunction with Father’s Day which is celebrated today.

“Being a proud father myself, I know fatherhood is the most important role we will ever play, for our children look to us for as role models, and how they shape their lives is often a reflection of us.

“May you always set a good example for your children,” he said.

He also urged fathers to continue to be with their children when it matters.

Sultan Ibrahim also shared four photos of him with his family.

The message has since gone viral, with over 19,000 Likes and shared nearly 1,600 times.
