A suspected wire thief found dead

A suspected wire thief was found dead at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tun Dr Syed Nasir, Felda Pasak, here today, apparently having fallen from a three-storey building of the school.

Kota Tinggi Police chief Supt Che Mahazan Che Aik said today the school gardener found the body of the man, who is believed to have gone there to steal copper wire.

"Police found a wire cutter, three rolls of copper wire as well as a motorcycle believed to be the man's not far from where the body was found," he said.

The body was sent to the Kota Tinggi Hospital.

School headmaster Tugi Wagiman said he was informed about the body at 7.15 am by the gardener and he rushed to the school.
