Teacher charged with having pornographic images, videos and seducing married woman for sex
Safriduwan Safar, 43, from Bandar Jengka, Maran, Pahang, pleaded not guilty to the charge after it was read out in front of judge Siti Aminah Ghazali.
A teacher was today charged at the Kuantan Sessions Court with making and having pornographic images and videos, as well as seducing another man's wife for sexual purposes in March.
The accused, Safriduwan Safar, 43, from Bandar Jengka, Maran, Pahang, pleaded not guilty to the charge after it was read out in front of judge Siti Aminah Ghazali.
He has been accused with having in his possession 63 pornographic photographs and 22 pornographic videos, which were stored in his Samsung and Lenovo smart phones at his house in Lorong Pandan Makmur Dua, Kuantan around 1.33pm on March 1.
The teacher who is attached to a school in Felda Jengka was also accused of having the pornographic photographs and videos in his smart phone on March 17 around 6.21pm.
Safriduwan, who is married with three children, was also accused of seducing a married civil servant to coax her into having sex with him.
For that offence, he was charged under Section 498 of the Penal Code which carries a maximum jail term of two years or a fine or both upon conviction.
Siti Aminah set bail at RM15,000 for all the charges with one surety.
The court fixed Aug 1 for mention and the appointment of attorney .
