Temporary water supply interruption in Petaling Jaya

Several areas in Petaling Jaya will be experiencing temporary water supply interruption due to emergency repair works of water distribution system equipment.

Repair work will begin at 12:00 noon today and is expected to be completed by 7:00pm today, Syabas said in a press statement.

"Every effort will be undertaken to expedite completion of the repair works. Water supply is expected to resume gradually in the affected areas after completion of the repair works," Syabas said.

The affected areas include the entire Section 1 to 6, Jalan Gasing, Section 14, Section 18, Taman Kanagapuram, Taman Sri Sentosa, Kampung Pasir, Section 51, Section 51A, Section 22, SS9, SS9A and Kampung Baiduri.

Consumers can get updates on the status of the repair works via "mySYABAS" smart phone application and www.syabas.com.my.
