The Terengganu state government will provide RM6 million to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said his office will determine the type of assistance or incentive to be given to target groups in various categories soon.
He said an announcement will be made after all related issues had been worked out and hoped that all parties remain patient and cooperative.
"Yesterday (March 19), the state executive council (MMKN) decided to conduct a comprehensive review and evaluation of the effects of COVID-19 on certain target groups in various categories in Terengganu.
"A sum of RM6 million has been allocated. The state government will make the announcement soon and please pray everything goes well," he wrote in a statement on his official Facebook page today.
