#TerimaKasihCikgu: Ahmad Maslan is the best GST teacher - Subromaniam

The determination shown by Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan in providing information about the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to the people should be an example for all teachers in this country.

Customs GST Director Datuk Subromaniam Tholasy said, Ahmad Maslan's sincerity and patience in explaining the tax is a feature which should be followed by other leaders in the country.

"Is it wrong if Ahmad Maslan has been working so hard to explain the tax?

"What he is doing now is to bring awareness to people about the importance of GST. Ahmad Maslan is doing a good job so far. He is like a teacher who receives a lot of criticism but still sacrifices for his students (people) for them to understand about GST," said Subromaniam when contacted by Astro AWANI here today.

Subromaniam said this when he was asked to comment on Ahmad Maslan's role as a minister who is seen as an excellent GST teacher to the entire community.

Ahmad Maslan had previously expressed his disappointment when most his statement on the issue of GST was misinterpreted by many quarters.
