Tourists arrival to T'gganu not affected by GE
Tourist arrivals in Terengganu, after the launching of the Visit Terengganu Year (VTY) 2013 last week, will not be affected by the general election this year.
State Tourism, Culture, Arts and Heritage Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Rahin Mohd Said said the general election would involve local voters and not tourists.
"I am confident that tourist arrivals and the response to VTY will not be affected. In fact, it will be merrier despite the advent of the general election," he told reporters, here, today.
Abdul Rahin believed the general election this time in Terengganu would be a new attraction for visitors and foreign tourists.
The state government targets four million tourists visiting Terengganu in conjunction with VTY.
