Traffic was still reported to be slow moving this morning on certain stretches of the major highways in the peninsula.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) on its Twitter site said on the North-South Expressway (NSE), traffic was congested from Rawang South to Tanjung Malim and Slim River to Sungkai at 11.15am.
It said the situation was the same from Ipoh to the Menora Tunnel
In the south, LLM said also at 11.15am, traffic was congested from Putra Mahkota to Seremban and Skudai to Kulai Jaya.
As for the East Coast Highway, LLM said traffic at Gombak Toll Plaza was at a snarl at the Smart Tag & Touch 'n' Go lanes.
