TRX City: PM Najib satisfied with pace of development

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is very satisfied with the pace of development in the construction of TRX City.

PM Najib who is also Finance Minister said 70 percent of TRX plot had been developed and that TRX also received investments from numerous leading international companies.

He said the government is in no hurry to sell the remaining lots as it wants to get the best offer.

"Many financial institutions are now interested because it will be the next central business district in Kuala Lumpur," he said after the TRX visit.

"As you know, China Construction Bank has already pledged to make TRX as a financial center, and they are also in talks to build its own tower here,” he added

He hope other financial institutions will follow suit.

TRX involves a construction of 28.33 hectares with gross development value of RM40 billion.
