Twitter : Chaos at ATM as recipients withdraw BR1M aid
Social media site Twitter on Saturday was flooded with comments of crowds of people in banks across the country.
These comments was widely spread shortly after the announcement made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on the 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) 2014 on Saturday morning.
Najib said in order for the BR1M 2014 package to be implemented, the government has allocated RM4.6 billion to benefit 7.9 million recipients.
Following the announcement, droves of BR1M recipients raided ATM machines in banks across the country.
Among others, Twitter users also complained about the long queue at the ATM machines.
