Kajang voters, will on Sunday, decide on whether the Barisan Nasional (BN) or the Pakatan Rakyat will win the Kajang state seat.

BN’s Datin Chew Mei Fun and PKR’s president Datin Seri Azizah Ismail are both vying for the seat, which fell vacant following the incumbent PKR’s Lee Chin Cheh’s resignation on Jan 27.

Although most Malaysians are focussed on the fate of the missing Malaysian Airlines (MAS) MH370 which went missing on March 8, many still use the social media to pray and express hope for their choice of candidates in the Kajang by-election.

This included Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.






















MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and Umno Youth leader Khairy Jamaluddin had also tweeted, calling on the voters to vote wisely.





Candidate Dr Wan Azizah thanked her supporters and those involved throughout the campaiging period.



The Kajang state seat Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was initially to contest for the state seat but he lost his eligibility to contest following his sodomy conviction.

A total of 15 polling centres has been opened since 8am Sunday for 38,055 voters.
