Villagers appalled by bizarre 'standing' prayer mat, telekung
The same incident had previously been reported happened in Terengganu, Kedah and Johor.
Villagers in Jeneri, Sik, Kedah was left in shock when a prayer mat and attire (telekung) were seen in a 'standing' position.
A local folk, Zahrizan Ghazali, 47 of Kampung Tok Aris Mukim Jeneri, Sik was about to perform the Zohor prayer at 1.45pm on Friday with her daughter at their residence here when she stumbled upon the bizarre incident.
Zahrizan claimed that she was laying the prayer mat on the floor before leaving the room to put on the the white prayer garment.

But she was surprised to see the items were in a standing position when she returned to the room.
Appalled, Zahrizan summoned her children to witness the incident.
The incident also caught the attention of Jeneri Assemblyman, Mahadzir Abdul Hamid, who was visiting in the village.

“This is an indication of Allah’s greatness. Everything happened for a reason,” said Mahadzir, when met by Astro AWANI here today. "Just avoid falling into superstitious beliefs," he added.
Similar incident had allegedly occurred in several states including Terengganu, Kedah and Johor.
