Ensure organisations respect Islam as the religion of the federation - Abdul Hadi
He called on RoS to ensure organisations respect Islam as the religion of the federation.
Pas is urging the Registrar of Societies (RoS) to monitor and ensure that the organisations registered in the country abide by the Federal Constitution.
Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said RoS must ensure that the organisations also abide by the provisions stated under the Constitution.
"Do they respect Islam as the religion of the federation? This must be monitored," Abdul Hadi said in his speech at the Pas 63rd muktamar at Kompleks Pas, Kota Sarang Semut.
The muktamar began Saturday and ended today.
