Ezam Mohd Nor joins Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia
Mohamad Ezam was previously Anwar's right hand man.
Former Senator, Datuk Mohamad Ezam Mohd Nor today confirmed that he will be joining Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM), led by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Mohamad Ezam said he had met Dr Mahathir and PPBM president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to discuss about him joining the party.
"I met Dr Mahathir on Tuesday and have submitted membership form to Muhyiddin on Wednesday morning," he told Astro AWANI.
Mohamad Ezam before this has been a vocal critic of Dr Mahathir following his mentor, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's sacking from the government in 1998.
On Oct 3, Mohamad Ezam had announced his resignation from UMNO, making it the second time for him to do so.

He said he took the decision to defend his quest and struggle for change.
Mohamad Ezam recently quit his senatorship, triggering speculations that he would return to PKR to strengthen Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail's position as the party's number one.
He left his service at the Finance Ministry as communication director effective April 1, 2016, well before his contract ended. His contract was supposed to end next year.
Mohamad Ezam initially left PKR in 2007 after announcing he had lost faith in the leadership of Anwar. He was previously Anwar's right hand man.
He then rejoined UMNO in 2008.
