Ku Li echoes Tun M in calling for Najib to address allegations

It’s time for Datuk Seri Najib Razak to reveal the truth about the scandals and issues surrounding his administration, said UMNO veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

The Gua Musang MP, popularly known as Ku Li, said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad must have had a good reason to have criticised the Prime Minister so harshly in his latest blog entry, The Malaysian Insider reported.

"He (Dr Mahathir) wants to know the truth behind this.

"It is high time that real answers are given, that the truth comes out of these things," the news portal quoted Ku Li as saying at Parliament lobby today.

He added that, as an experienced leader, Dr Mahathir knows how things are in political organisations facing the general election.

"It is going to be very difficult for anyone to get support if there are still unresolved issues," Ku Li reportedly said.

In his latest blog entry on chedet.cc, the former premier had said many are predicting that UMNO and Barisan Nasional will lose the 14th General Election because there have been too many accusations hurled towards Najib which he was not answering.

Dr Mahathir had said, should UMNO lose one more time, there will be no way for them to recover.
