KUALA LUMPUR:President, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he has met with UMNO President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi recently to discuss the relationship between both parties.
"I had a meeting with the UMNO President and Barisan Nasional Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi a few days ago.
"We talked from the heart, frankly speaking. We are aware that the relationship between Bersatu and UMNO must be improved. Efforts must be made between both sides, from the highest level to the division and grassroot levels," said Muhyiddin, during his policy address at the 3rd Bersatu annual general assembly held virtually today.
