Objections from both political divide prove EC is fair - Hamzah
HAMZAH: Any party not satisfied with the proposal may submit their objections.
The Election Commission’s (EC) proposed redelineation exercise which received much flak from both the Opposition and Barisan Nasional alike, proves the agency has carried out its duties without fear or favour.
UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin said anyone who is not satisfied with the proposal may come forward to state their dissatisfaction.
“I believe the EC has carried out its duties to the best of its ability. Any party not satisfied with the proposal may submit their objections,” he said when met at an event here today.
Several parties had previously cried foul over the proposed redelineation exercise, including from Pakatan Harapan, Gerakan, MCA and UMNO.
